Aluno de Cinema fala da sua experiência no CinemadaMare

O nosso aluno João Mestre está neste momento em Itália no CinemadaMare, um festival itenerante que todos os anos leva alunos da Universidade Lusófona. O João deixou o seu testemunho da sua experiência até à data:

"Cinemadamare has just started and I'm already super enthusiasthic with this wonderful experience! I shoot every single day with my own equipment and techniques I've been learning along the years in Universidade Lusófona. I'm here since 14th of June and already directed two films and DOP more than 4! Those previous have already own two film awards: Best Cinematography and Best Editing, chosen by Cinemadamare's Juri.

I'm working a lot day by day and there's my motivation. It's perfect how my filmic habilities have been growing since I am here in Cinemadamare. The knowledge I gather from Juri's Masterclasse and also from other participants has no price. We are here to make awesome films and enjoy this wonderful Italian mood. Let's keep working!"

O Diretor do Festival também teve algo a dizer sobre o festival:

"The biggest gathering of young filmmakers in the world, an international travelling movie Campus and a production centre addressed to filmmakers, students and professionals of movie industry. Each year, 300 participants come from more than 65 countries of the world and they work together during each stage of a film production: script development, location scouting, filming and editing.Since 2003, it runs through Italy during the summer. It starts in Rome at the end of June and finishes in Venice at the end of the Venice International Film Festival, during which CinemadaMare is present with the young participants of the Campus.

It offers free accomodation in schools used as hostels and free shifts from a city to another, travelling on a bus.

CinemadaMare assures a qualified educational programme: every day CinemadaMare’s schedule includes Masterclasses, Workshops and special meetings addressed to all the filmmakers.

CinemadaMare is a real open-air show that takes place in the town square of the city that hosts us, offering the screenings of its two competitions, the Main Competition and the Weekly Competition.

It is a wonderful experience, full of life, which we really suggest to everyone! Every year is a totally new experience full of surprises and joy.
