CINEIMPACT Film Summer Academy [new DDL: 20/08]; prizes offered for best films

The new regular submission deadline for applications to the CINEIMPACT Film Summer Academy dedicated to Art and Social Cinema is August 20th.

The academy will take place between 03-18 September in Romania – Campulung Muscel. 12 international participants will split into teams to develop their film ideas during the two week adventure, under the guidance of three tutors: Ger Duizjings, Vintilă Mihăilescu, Ionuţ Piţurescu. During the field research, development, production and post-production of the films, the participants will be inspired by master-classes held by invited experts. The film crews will be supported by production assistants with deep knowledge of the investigated area. 

The final event of the International Film Summer Academy will award the best films with prizes amounting to 4000 Euro.

One of the 6 films produced in the previous edition - “Pattern or Not (Şablon sau nu)”, Dorottya Balczo (director and cinematographer) & Andra Nedelcu (director and visual artist) - was successfully selected and propelled to participate in one of the sections dedicated to short film (SFC) at Cannes Film Festival 2016.
