Ca' Foscari Short Film Festival – 7th edition

Ca’ Foscari’ University of Venice is proud to present you the seventh edition of the Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival.

The Festival - reserved to short films from cinema/media schools and universities - is on its way to the seventh edition, we’re growing bigger and better every year and we are very proud to held this year competition at Auditorium Santa Margherita, a wonderful theater in the heart of Venice, from March 15th to 18th, 2017.

We invite you to take part in our International Competition. This is a call for works; please refer to the Contest Regulations and the Entry Form attached for all the details. The deadline for submitting your works is January 20th, 2017. This year we will award the Grand Prix fot Best Film, the Best Sound Track Award and a special mention for the best Artwork.

We will inform the selected directors by February 20th, in order to allow you to plan a visit to our festival. Last year we were able to grant an accommodation to most of the selected directors and we hope to do the same this year. Therefore if you will be selected please consider to take a trip to Venice and join us, for this is a very passionate and young-oriented festival and all our guests greatly enjoy the friendly atmosphere that characterizes us.

This is a great chance to show your films in one of the most breathtaking city in the world, to viewers from all over the globe, and we cannot wait to give your works a proper screening here in Venice, be they fiction films, documentaries, or animations.
