12 international participants will split into teams to develop their film ideas and related soundtracks during the two week adventure, under the guidance of three tutors: Ger Duijzings, Ionut Piturescu and Augustin Pop. During the field research, development, production and post-production of the films, the participants will be inspired by master-classes held by invited experts.
The CINEIMPACT Jury will award a 1,000 Euro grant to the best film project.

As confirmation of CINEIMPACT Academy's power to transform and inspire students, we are proud to mention that "Pattern or Not (Şablon sau nu)”, Dorottya Balczo (director and cinematographer) & Andra Nedelcu (director and visual artist) - was successfully selected and propelled to participate in one of the sections dedicated to short film (SFC) at Cannes Film Festival 2016, while one of the feature length projects initiated during 2017's Academy, "Mother and Son" (Romania, Finland, directed by Irish-Italian director David Power), was selected in 2018 at the prestigious LisbonDocs Film Forum.
