Sobre Nico Meisner

Nico Meißner completed his doctoral studies at the University of Salford in August 2011- His research is concerned with independent filmmaking and how filmakers can use the internet to sustain their work. Convinced that the internet opens up new career building opportunities for enterprising artist, he is currently rallying for an increased inclusion of online enterprising skills into the training of the next generation of filmmakers.

True to the nature of his research, Nico engages in independent filmmaking as editor and filmmaker. For the past decade, he has also organized Immergut Festival - one of the leading independent music festivals in Germany.
