"Roof Knocking" vence em Cannes

A curta-metragem "Roof Knocking", do Mestrado Kino Eyes, conquistou o prémio para melhor curta na categoria "drama" no Festival "Le Petit Cannes".

A curta já tinha vencido no Cairo em Novembro passado no "Cairo International Film Festival".

O prémio foi entregue com a seguinte mensagem:

“A strong message delivered lightly, and empathetically, with strong performances, and a sparse, yet effective, script. The clever and fluent lighting evokes both a claustrophobic mood, and a dreamlike state, cleverly weaving between the reality of the situation and the inner emotional world of the principle character. Beautifully crafted and stunningly shot, Roof Knocking is absolutely fantastic on every level.”
