CINEIMPACT Film Summer Academy [DDL: early bird 01/07; regular 05/07; grant for best film]

The fourth edition of the CINEIMPACT Film Summer Academy dedicated to Art and Social Cinema taking the innovative form of Creative Documentaries, Docu-Fiction Storytelling, Visual Anthropology and Social Action.

The academy will take place between 25th of August – 07th of September in Romania – Campulung Muscel.  

12 international participants will split into teams to develop their film ideas during the two week adventure, under the guidance of three tutors: Ger Duijzings, Vintila Mihailescu, Ionut Piturescu. During the field research, development, production and post-production of the films, the participants will be inspired by master-classes held by invited experts. 

The final event of the International Film Summer Academy will award the best film with an 1,000 Euro grant.

One of the 6 films produced in the previous edition - “Pattern or Not (Şablon sau nu)”, Dorottya Balczo (director and cinematographer) & Andra Nedelcu (director and visual artist) - was successfully selected and propelled to participate in one of the sections dedicated to short film (SFC) at Cannes Film Festival 2016.
