SHORTS MÉXICO - Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de México, opens its call for entries to participate on the Fourteenth Edition of SHORTS MÉXICO. 

SHORTS MÉXICO has become the biggest International short film festivals in Latin America. At SHORTS MÉXICO we encourage the growth and development of short films as well as the filmmakers. 

The submissions to be part of the "Official Selection" of SHORTS MÉXICO 2019 will be open from February 15th to May 31st 2019 at 23:59 HRS. Hrs (CST) Mexico City.

The cycle of nights "Noche of Shorts México" takes place throughout the year and features previews, exhibitions, retrospectives and master classes. The Shorts México Tour includes the towns and villages of the Mexican Republic, as well as several countries. The Shorts México Academy conference cycle includes an academic offer aimed at developing professionalization in various specialized areas of cinematography. The festival will present the short film pitching contest Competencia de Pitching de Cortometraje Shorts México 2019 with the aim of encouraging and promoting the creation and production of quality films.

The call for entries for the 6th Edition of the IFF Olhares do Mediterrâneo - Cinema no Feminino will close soon.

The deadline is April 15. Don't miss this opportunity!

Here's the check-list for eligible films: 

• WOMAN Director, Screenwriter, Producer, Editor, DOP
• The filmmaker is from, or works in, a Mediterranean country
• The film was produced in 2017, 2018 or 2019
• The film is a Documеntary, Fiction, Animation or Experimental work

In 2019, once again, we will explore the world through the eyes of Mediterranean women!
