João Alves de Sousa, Filipe Luz, and Micaela Fonseca, researchers from the HEI-Lab R&D unit, are organizing the second edition in Portugal of the Playful by Design conference. This initiative arises from a collaboration agreement between the Universidade Lusófona/ FilmEU and the University of Illinois, addressing the challenges that educators and teachers face in this era of digital education. The conference will feature researchers and professors from the University of Illinois (USA), Uppsala (Sweden), Rey Juan Carlos (Spain), Puc Rio (Brazil), and companies like Alumira and Dreamshaper. The event will take place on January 8 and 9, 2024, with free admission.
