International conference on storytelling, film and VR
The conference marks the end of the European Erasmus + project Essemble jointly promoted by Universidade Lusófona (Lisbon); MOME (Budapest); ifs (Cologne) and LUCA (Brussels), four European film schools that have come together to explore the new possibilities digital VR technologies and the merge between animation and live image, open both from an educational and creative point of view.
Assembling Essemble is a two days international conference focusing on storytelling, film and VR.
The conference marks the end of the European Erasmus + project Essemble jointly promoted by Universidade Lusófona (Lisbon); MOME (Budapest); ifs (Cologne) and LUCA (Brussels), four European film schools that have come together to explore the new possibilities digital VR technologies and the merge between animation and live image, open both from an educational and creative point of view.
The first day of the conference specifically targets film and media schools teachers interested in acquiring knowledge and skills about the use of these new technologies in educational settings and includes a tailored hands-on workshop on VR and storytelling.
The second day includes a set of case studies and keynotes on the future of film and the changes these technologies imply both for educators and professionals.
