Seminar - How to fund and produce a film on an international scale
"How to fund and produce a film on an international scale" seminar will take place on 29th April in Hotel Palácio Estoril. The main goal of this seminar is to promote the acquisition of knowledge on the process of funding and produce at an international scale.
The seminar is presented by Gillian Berrie, co-founder of Sigma Films. One of her latest features produced is the Netflix Outlaw King. Sigma's films regularly premiere at A List festivals and have received over 150 awards internationally, including the Prix de Jury in Cannes for Red Road, and the Silver Bear in Berlin for Hallam Foe as well as numerous BIFA and BAFTA nominations and awards.
Isabel Davis is also part of this seminar, Isabel leads Screen Scotland. She has been the BFI’s Head of International since 2011. In a role combining editorial, production and policy expertise, Isabel delivered the BFI’s international strategy.
