Announcement of a new fellowship in Germany

Three cities in the southwest of Germany - Mainz, Speyer and Worms – are offering a six weeks residency for artists in 2021. The project is part of the celebration of “1.700 years of Jewish culture in Germany”. Of the participants is requested to react to, communicate with or somehow deal with the rich heritage of Jewish culture to be found in the cities as monuments and also to take into consideration the spiritual background and history.

We are addressing fine artists as well as musicians, authors, poets, artisans, filmmakers and architects. The invitation is sent out internationally to artists of any cultural or religious background, not only Jewish. Three artists will be elected for a stay of six weeks each.

As the artistic curator of this project I would like to ask you for some help by communicating it within your network of film schools in Europe and worldwide. So in case you send out newsletters to the members of GEECT or publish any paper please enclose an announcement of this fellowship.
